Learn & Build
Watch the Reddit AI tutorial using Cursor or read the Developer Documentation. Be sure to start by selecting "Devvit Web" template (instead of "Blocks", their old system), which lets you build Devvit WebView apps using technologies like React, Phaser, Three.js, gen-AI tools, or game engines like Godot, GameMaker, & Unity. It's easier for sound.

Create Audio with ElevenLabs
Generate your first voice lines, music, or SFX at ElevenLabs. Drop them into your game’s WebView build and add a mute toggle so players can control the experience. Test to make sure the sound truly adds to the scene.

Build & Submit
Publish your WebView-ready game before the deadline! How? Upload your app to the Reddit Developer Platform. Create a new public subreddit to host your app, and create a public post running your game. You'll link to the public subreddit.  Here's the guide: https://developers.reddit.com/docs/quickstart and please ask me if you get stuck (took me ages to find the "..." to add the App/Game)

Kasey Robinson – Founder of Hackeroos Pty Ltd with 10 years of experience in User Experience Design, AI Engineering, and community management. Launched Hackeroos in May 2025 to bring the dynamic U.S. hackathon culture to Australia, starting globally to build awareness and momentum. Her judging specialty is great with immersive design, technical, and overall impact.

Tejas Pravinbhai Patel - Software Development Engineer at Amazon who has hosted and judged multiple internal hackathons focused on AI, innovation, and scalable systems. He also serves with a research review team that evaluates technical papers for originality and impact. He brings a structured technical approach to judging, emphasizing creativity, functionality, and user experience.

Kingston Kuan – Software Engineer at Jane Street, a leading global finance and technology firm, with prior experience at TikTok and Verkada.
