Game Maker x Gumbo NYC Game Jam!

GameMaker, Gumbo, and Shattered Journal Games have teamed up to bring you another ever game jam! Keep reading!

What is Gumbo?

Gumbo is the home base of the NYC indie game maker community. Our mission is to provide a space for these creators to work and collaborate as well as connect them with the resources to help them succeed in a highly competitive market. We have a coworking space in Brooklyn where we make games and host events!

What's the theme of this jam?

The theme will be announced when the jam starts!

Is this an in person jam?!

You bet your buttons it is! Participants may work at the Gumbo office Saturday 10/25 and Sunday 10/26 10am-7pm. If you want to work at the Gumbo office for the jam, at least one of your team members must attend the opening ceremony and sign up for space. We will prioritize teams of more than one person but will have space for teams of one as well. Space is limited!

Sign up here if you're interested in working at the Gumbo office during the event!

Can you help me find a team?

Sure can! Check out our Looking for Group form to find team members.

What's the prize?

One member of the winning team will receive a GameMaker enterprise license for 12 months!

Gumbo sounds great. How can I support Gumbo?

Wow, great question. We have a Patreon, and all membership tiers get access to our Discord!
