To celebrate Guildford Games Festival this year we will be running a remote Game Jam alongside, open to all.  

The jam runs from Friday the 2nd December 5pm to Sunday the 4th December 5pm.

The main way of communicating this year will be via our Discord group here: https://discord.gg/EKSEY8QgBC

The Jam will be hosted on itch.io so you can submit your games here and view everyone else’s submissions!  

You are welcome to jam solo, form teams ahead of the jam, or join up on Discord to find a team!  

The theme will be revealed in a brief kick off on Discord and will be published on itch.io shortly afterwards.

Modifiers:  

Guildford – Have some reference to the local area in your game

Wait, what?! – Use a plot twist or cliffhanger in your game

Can you hear the people sing? – Include singing or vocals in your game

Supporting the next generation – Have a student or under 25 year old on your team  

Bonus Points for those who share:  

It’s different doing things remotely, we love to see how you are all doing. Share photos or videos of you jamming and your work INP on our Discord. If you want to share publicly please use the hashtag #GGFest21 and #GuildfordGamesFestival
