Godot Tool Jam #1 is a community jam dedicated entirely to building Godot editor plugins and workflow tools.   No games. Just tools. Something to make other godot devs lives easier.

In 72 hours, build something that improves the Godot editor experience. A plugin, a dock, an inspector, whatever fills the gap you've always felt was missing.

Submission Requirements

To submit to Godot Tool Jam #1, your entry must include:

1. The Plugin

  • A working Godot editor plugin or workflow tool
  • Compatible with Godot 4.x
  • Source code included (public GitHub repo strongly encouraged)
  • An addons/ folder structured so it can be dropped into any Godot project

2. A Devlog / Writeup Tell us about what you built. 

  • What it does — what problem does it solve?
  • Why you made it — what gap were you filling?
  • What you'd add with more time — stretch goals, known issues, future plans
