Gnolls are infamously crass, stinky, rude and lewd fictional hyena men made popular in Dungeons and Dragons. I love these bastards so much I’m kicking off an entire month themed after them (Gnollvember). Gnollvember has largely been art-focused up until recently, so now I'm here to lightly encourage the Itch.io community to create some more media celebrating my favorite smelly boys. With that in mind...

Welcome to the first Gnoll Tabletop Jam!

The rules are simple:

• Entrants must be age 18+.
• Your work must be a tabletop roleplaying game.
• Your work must be created specifically for the jam.
  • You may use assets that were created before the jam.
  • Your assets must have been created by you, or you must have permission to use your assets.
• Your work must prominently feature at least one gnoll.
• Generative AI may not be used to create any of the assets or text.
• Entries must be free to download for the duration of the Voting period.

Submission Categories

Submissions will be organized into 3 distinct categories and a winner will be decided in each category:

• NSFW - Games that feature NSFW content.
• SFW - Games that feature no NSFW content.
• Grab Bag - Non-tabletop games.

Criteria

Entries will be judged based on 3 criteria:

• Originality - How novel the game's concept is.
• Aesthetic - How visually appealing the game is.
• Gameplay - How well the game plays, and how fun it is.

Note: I'm not sure exactly how Grab Bag will be judged. I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.

Prizes

All winners will recieve an original colored sketch drawn by myself! This art could be an asset for use in your game like a logo or piece of spot art, or a personal commission featuring a gnoll character that could fit into the world of your work, or featuring one of your characters as a gnoll.
