Game Development Guidelines:
- Platform: You are free to develop your game for any platform (PC, web, Android, etc.).
- Team Size: You can work individually or in teams of up to 4 members.
- Game Engine: Feel free to use any game engine or framework (Unity, Unreal, Godot, etc.) that best suits your skills and project.
- Time Frame: The game jam will span 5 days, starting from [insert start date/time] to [insert end date/time].
Requirements:
- Originality: All games must be original, created specifically for this jam. Pre-existing projects or assets are not allowed (except for publicly available assets with proper licenses).
- Submission Format: You must submit a playable version of your game along with the source files. Instructions for playing the game should also be included (e.g., controls, objectives).
- Deadline: All submissions must be completed and submitted by [insert deadline date and time]. Late submissions may not be considered for judging.
Evaluation Criteria:
Your game will be judged based on the following:
- Creativity & Interpretation of Theme: How well does your game align with and interpret the "City of Beasts" theme?
- Gameplay: Is the game engaging, fun, and well-structured? Are the mechanics intuitive and polished?
- Design & Aesthetics: How appealing are the visual and audio elements? Does the game create an immersive experience?
- Innovation: Does your game introduce something new, unique, or clever in terms of mechanics, storytelling, or design?
- Technical Execution: Is the game stable, responsive, and free of major bugs or glitches?
