This is the annual game jam for the Gex series of games that you can get the opportunity to make your own fan curated games.

Rules

1.  If you got a game, please submit during the game jam. The submissions will be open for you to post.
2. Keep things PG-13, or don't add content which might spread hate to specific group. Avoid NSFW if possible. In other words, just don't make a R34 game.
3. You work with a team of people or solo doesn't matter.
4. Submit within the deadline, any late submissions might be considered if there's small volume of content.
5. You can use any game engine, however Dreams and Roblox are obviously prohibited as they used their own frameworks.
6. The use of game assets are allowed, but it's encouraged if you can make your own if you can. Check resources for more.
7. No use of AI generated content under any circumstances
8. Go nuts, with the concept! It doesn't have strictly be a 2D/3D platformer. If you want to put Gex in different genres, go for it! It's your fan made creation.
9. Also, you can make a fangame, rom hack and even mods featuring Gex  are allowed. e.g if you want to put him into Sonic,you can. It doesn't matter.

Requirements

• It goes without saying, you make a 2D or 3D game. The genre is totally up to you.
• You can use any engine to upload your game. However, Roblox and Dreams isn't allowed for obvious reasons.
• Make sure you submit your project as an archive file (zip/rar) with all the contents, easy to open.
• Make sure that your application doesn't contain any malicious code or it will be removed.
• Ensure your game is actually playable and functional i.e have a working prototype. At least we should be start the game with little to no issues. Essentially, it shouldn't be broken on startup.
• Please provide a README file for your game, just to make it easier to install or if you don't have any instructions to how to play in-game. Make it easy to understand too.
• You should ideally submit through itch.io game jam. Make an account if you want to join the Gex Jam.
