Rules
- This Game Jam is open to all students at St. John's University. You do not have to be a member of the GET Club to be a part of this event.
- No assets of any kind can be created before the Game Jam. You can only create a proposal and team prior to the dates assigned to the Game Jam.
- There is no limit to team size.
- You are allowed to use any game development platform that your team desires.
- Plagiarizing work or reusing assets will be met with disqualification and removal from the Game Jam.
- All games must have a completed, playable version uploaded by the end of April 5th. They will then be played the following day during the April 6th GET Club meeting from 5-6:30 PM.
- Please keep all works respectful towards St. John's University and religious beliefs.
- No Nudity. Minimal Blood. No Excessive Violence. No advocating Drug/Alcohol usage. No highly Sexual Themes.
- All works submitted to the Game Jam are protected under the Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0). These works shared and redistributed for any reason including commercially. This is to ensure that any teams that desire to monetize their games after the Game Jam may do so.
- If you are using any St. John's University equipment to create your game, your game is subject to the St. John's University Intellectual Property statement. - The Community winner will be decided based on votes by the Team Members, and Students present on April 6th.
- The Overall winner and Category winner will be decided based on votes by the GET E-Board (Judging Board) and Faculty Board on April 11th.
- Team Members are not allowed to vote for their own games.
