Intrinsic Game Jam involves a theme which has to be interpreted and implemented in your project, also there is a required limitation that is announced as soon as the game jam starts to spice things up. Remember, limitation breeds creativity. The theme is already public so you can plan ahead, just keep the limitation in mind and feel free to interpret it however you want.

Most important of all - enjoy your time and don't feel pressured to do anything extraordinary! Game jams are meant to be a fun way to practice, experiment and get to know talented people!

Details:

Two Buttons: Your game should have only two different inputs that can only be on or off.  The game must be playable in PC with two keyboard keys without using the mouse.

Color Palette: Use this colors for your game. If you're doing a smooth style other than pixel or vector art, you colors will inevitably mesh together, at least a bit. That's alright. If you have lighting, as long as the textures and the light colors are accoording to the palette, it's fine.

The Game Ends Where it starts: Interpret it as you wish, as if it was a second theme, but be reasonable :)

• Your game must be made within the time frame. 
• You can use whatever engine you want.
• If your game does not follow at least one limitation, it may be removed. 
• You can pick as many limitations as you want, but only one is required.
• You can use whatever art and audio assets if you have the legal right to use.
• Your game cannot require additional software such as an emulator or a game.
• Updates are allowed after the game has been submitted and ranked.
• No harassment and offensive content of any kind.

~ Phase 1 ~

At the end of the Jam, there will be a rating period that lasts one week and the submissions can be ranked by any user. 
Your game will be rated on:

Fun - How was the overall experience and how much did you enjoy your time with the game.

Originality - How interesting or unique the main focus of the game was.

Gameplay - Quality of the game in therms of their rules and game design.

Visuals - How good does the game look.

~ Phase 2 ~

After the first rating, our special guests will play the Top 10 overall games and award the following titles:

Best game - Best game overall.

Most original - Most interesting idea.

Clever design - Best design execution.

Best art - The most beautiful game.

Who can enter?  Anyone, of any age, from anywhere. You can work alone or in teams.

How many limitations do I have to follow?  You must follow at least one limitation. If you are feeling risky, try making your game with two or even three limitations.

What can I make my game in?  Anything, just upload a file that runs on Windows and/or browsers.

Who will judge the games?  Games will be judged during two different phases. The first score will be determinated by the public. After that, our judges will play the Top 10 overall games and choose in four different categories. All of the results will be revealed when this process is over.

This server has been created so that all of us who like game design / level design have a forum to share knowledge and meet cool people. Everything for free!

• On Mondays there will be classes of Game Design / Level Design. 
• On Wednesdays there will be round tables with game designers / level designers from video game studios to explain their experience and give us advice / master classes.
• On Fridays there will be free by members of the server, if you have a presentation, say it on the programming-presentations-Friday channel and you will be queued. Check channel #📢calendario.
