Welcome to the GDSC’s first official Game Jam.

In this event, you will get to make a game based on a specific theme in 72 hours. The game will be ranked by our judges and correspondingly winners will be announced.

Game jams are a fun experience where you get to challenge yourself, meet other developers and discuss your games and their progress. The best part about Game Jam is learning new things and the whole process of making and finishing it. Are you new to game dev and think you can’t finish a game in such a short amount of time? Well, give it a shot, it's worth trying and you'll learn a lot! 

Join our Discord server for any notifications/help about the jam and to meet other participants.
You can share your progress on the general channel under the Game Jam category if you want. 
Please note that to submit your game officially you also need to join on Itch.

• Your game must not include any NSFW and offensive/discriminatory content.
• You are allowed to use any game engine or framework.
• You can also use assets not made by you, but make sure you have the proper license to use them.
• You can also make a team maximum of 4 members.

The games will be judged on the basis of 5 aspects:
Game Design, Game Mechanics, Theme, Graphics, and Audio.
It's amazing if you are able to hit all the aspects but if not!! Don't worry about it. Just try to be creative and stick to the theme!
