GDS Game Jam 2020

Hello, welcome to The Game Design Society's first-ever Game Jam! Hosted remotely, we are going to challenge you to create a game in 48 hours based a theme chosen by the team! You will work in teams you've chosen or have us put a team together for you. Submissions will be shared here and all participants get to join our very exclusive discord server for this and future jams.

The jam is happening between December 18th, 2020 5 PM EST to December 20th, 2020 5 PM EST. Mark that on your calendar! Remember that we are under Sheridan Policies and the Student Code of Conduct still applies. Otherwise, feel free to get creative with the genre, art style, engine, and etc!

How to Jam

Step 2. Find a team or have us find you a team.
Step 3. Wait for theme announcement
Step 4. Make the game!
Step 5. Share your game

On the day of the jam, we will announce the game jam theme on the discord server we've created for this event. It will also be updated here. Make sure you are in the server if you want to be put into teams! If you have any questions, feel free to @ any of the mods.
