Welcome to the 2020 UCF Game Dev Knights Staycation Jam!

Who:  For any college students and recent graduates interested in creating a video game with other aspiring game developers, this is the place to be! 

When: This event will start on May 5th at 7:00 PM EST and end on May 7th at 7:00 PM EST. 

Where: This year, we'll be hosting our Game Jam entirely online on May 5th with a Twitch stream at  https://www.twitch.tv/gamedevknights. It's also important to join our dedicated Discord server for the Jam in order to stay connected with our officers and fellow attendants! https://discord.gg/PVWz84z

What: Around 7:15 PM, we will explain the rules and reveal the theme for the jam. Afterwards, people can create a pitch for a game idea along with required roles for the game.  Once people have joined up with each other to form teams, they will create a game for the next two days which must be completed and turned in to this Itch.io page by 6:00 PM EST on May 7th. 

How: Communication, patience and persistence will be key here! Also remember to be respectful and have fun!

Once all teams have submitted their games, we will stream again on Twitch and play the submitted games from 7:00 - 9:00 PM EST to show off all the hard work everyone did!
