Welcome to the 2021 UCF Game Dev Knight's Spring Game Jam!

Who:  For any college students and recent graduates interested in creating a video game with other aspiring game developers, this is the place to be! 

When: This event will start on February 26th at 7:00 PM EST and end on February 28th at 9:00 PM EST. 

Where: Just like last year, we'll be hosting our Game Jam entirely online! On February 26th, the GDK officers will host an introductory Zoom call at [insert Zoom call link here]. In this Zoom call, we will open the Game Jam, explain the event's schedule and reveal the theme for the Game Jam! It's also important to join our dedicated Discord server for the Jam in order to stay connected with our officers and fellow attendants! https://discord.gg/Ghc3rbTu

What: Around 7:15 PM, we will explain the rules and reveal the theme for the jam. Afterwards, people can create a pitch for a game idea along with required roles for the game.  Once people have joined up with each other to form teams, they will create a game for the next two days which must be completed and turned in to this Itch.io page by 6:00 PM EST on February 28th. 

How: Communication, patience and persistence will be key here! Also remember to be respectful and have fun!

Once all teams have submitted their games, we will stream again on Twitch and play the submitted games from 7:00 - 9:00 PM EST to show off all the hard work everyone did! Here is the link to the club's Twitch page: https://www.twitch.tv/gamedevknights
