A TechnoVIT 2026 Game Development Challenge!

Welcome to GAME JAM’26, a thrilling one-day game development event hosted by Google Developer Groups (GDG) as part of TechnoVIT 2026

Join us for an exciting challenge to create a game from scratch in just 12 hours — brainstorm, build, and bring your creative ideas to life!

Schedule

• Start: 31st August, 2026 — 12:00 PM
• End: 1st September,2026 — 3:00 AM
• Voting Ends: 4th September, 2026 — 12:00 PM

Theme

The theme that we've chosen is: Double !

Make sure not to deviate from the theme, else your submission won't be considered for judging. Be as creative as you can! You can make any type of game you want, the world is your oyster!

Rules & Guidelines

• You can use any engine or framework (Unity, Godot, Unreal, etc.).
• Assets can be created during the jam or used from other sources.
• Submissions must be playable (desktop/web builds preferred).
• Respect the theme and spirit of the jam.
• NSFW , Gen AI content , derogatory content strictly NOT allowed
• Participants must keep committing their code to a GitHub repository, and the GitHub link must be submitted along with the game.

This jam is ranked. Entries will be judged on the following criteria:

Voting is open to Judges only, ensuring fair and thoughtful feedback!
