Welcome, to the first Official GDD-RIO Game Jam!

GDD-RIO JAM #1 - Theme: No Time To Explain, Grab a Cactus!

What is the GDD-RIO JAM?

The GDD-RIO JAM is the Official Game Jam of GDD-RIO, a Brazilian game development group.

Rules:

  • You have 48 hours to develop a game. It can be digital or analogue.
  • You must create a game under the suggested theme.
  • Pre-made assets can be used, but only if you absolutely can't create the assets yourself.
  • Remember copyrights. Game jams are a great learning experience, but you're still publishing a real game, so don't just "borrow" copyrighted assets like you would for a school presentation.
  • All submitted games can't be monetized.
  • We don't accept any discriminatory content based on gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, religion, etc. If we see any content that seems to go against this rule, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including removing them from the jam.

What Tools can I use?
