Garbage jam is a jam where the whole point of the jam is to have fun making a game instead of trying hard. It doesn't matter how bad the art is, how buggy the game is or what other people think of it. All you need to do is have fun and not stress about it.

Try experimenting with new game genres instead of repeating what you have done before. It will be a good learning experience for you. :)
