Games Now! Online Jam #4: Inside a Quantum Computer | April 7-14, 2021

Games Now! Online Jam #4: Inside a Quantum Computer is the fourth jam in a series of online game jams organized by Aalto University Games Now! lecture series.

The jam will be jointly held with the Quantum Games course (https://quantumgames.aalto.fi/), which is run by Aalto University, Department of Media in collaboration with the Department of Applied Physics.

You can join the jam, regardless of whether you are enrolled in the courses - the jam is open for anyone interested to participate and it is free of charge.

This time we will have Dr. James Wootton as a guest speaker for the kick-off talk show. James is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research Zurich, with his researches topics related to making quantum computing accessible to newcomers, and experiments with games in the context of quantum computers. He has taught courses on quantum computers at the University of Basel, and was one of the founding authors of the Qiskit textbook.
