Mode: Remote participation (online) 

Objective: Participants must develop a functional game prototype that aligns with the theme while showcasing their unique design and technical expertise. 

• Name of Round: Online Qualifiers
• Description: Build a functional game prototype aligning with any one (or more) of the given themes.
• Start Date: 10-03-2025
• End Date: 20-03-2025
• Elimination round? Yes (teams will be shortlisted for the on-site finals)

• Inter‐college teams are welcome.
• The on‐site (offline) round applies only to teams qualifying from Round 1.
• Teams will be given new challenges to incorporate during the final round, testing how quickly they can adapt and integrate concepts.

• Themes for this year’s GameJam include:
  • “Ghost in the Gears”
  •  “Repair”
  •  “Extinction”
  •  “Whispers of Forgotten Time”
  •   “We don’t see things as they are; we see them as we are.”

NOTE : Teams are free to use any one theme out of these . Mixing of different themes  is also allowed. 

The submissions will be evaluated based on the following parameters:

1. Gameplay & Creativity – Does the game offer an enjoyable and immersive experience?

2. Theme Integration – How effectively does the game incorporate the theme?

3. Visual & Sound Design – Review of art style, animation quality, music composition, and sound effect implementation.

4. Polish - How well the game manages to execute its idea
