Hey everyone, I'm organizing a Game Jam with over $1,000 in the prize pool and would like to invite you all to the challenge!

All qualifying game submissions will be showcased at Open Sauce for all ~15,000+ attendees to play - not to mention the 100+ YouTubers like Adam Savage, Mark Rober, The Hacksmith, Pirate Software, CodeBullet, and many many more!  Don't miss out on your chance to showcase your programming skills and enter to win cash prizes.  

This Game Jam is specifically for browser games that need to be compatible with a Bluetooth enabled gyroscopic game controller - the GameCozy device.  You can find the SDK here: https://github.com/GameCozyCo/gamecozy_sdk

• 1st Place - $600 + one GameCozy device
• 2nd Place - $300 + one GameCozy device
• 3rd Place - $150 + one GameCozy device

Stretch Goals for Additional GameCozy Devices:

• >= 100 submissions - 4th and 5th will also receive a GameCozy device
• <= 250 submissions - 4th through 10th place will also receive a GameCozy device
• >=500 submissions - 4th through 20th place will also receive a GameCozy device

The winner will be announced within one week after Open Sauce ends (June 16th).  Prize money will be awarded via Venmo, CashApp, or Zelle

1. Effective use of the gyroscopic controller
   
2. Effective use of the LED ring and vibrating motor
3. Captivating use of visual and sound effects
4. Simplicity

Bonus points: games relevant to Open Sauce or any of the featured (YouTube) creators

1. The web app works best on Chrome.  Be sure to make your game Chrome compatible
   
2. Consider incorporate your favorite Maker YouTuber, ideally someone who will be attending Open Sauce
3. Consider dynamic directional controls (e.g. the more the gyro-controller is tilted, the faster the character's movement)
4. Consider making a game that can be played in both single and multiplayer mode
5. Consider multiplayer games that utilize the proximity detection feature
6. Consider making games that utilize the drink count feature
7. As long as it's made to be compatible with the GameCozy device, you can repurpose previously published games

• Racing game where the gyro-controller steers the car with tilt angle determining acceleration.  Use side-button for brakes
• Bomber man: Side-button puts bombs down.  Invincible while drinking
• Top-view beat 'em up game where the gyro-controller moves the character and side-button attacks.  Drink for health regen

1. Must be a browser game made compatible with the GameCozy platform (See SDK)
2. You must be the rightful owner of the game that you submit
3. You must grant GameCozy a perpetual and irrevocable commercial license (not to be sold; only to be played)
4. You can work alone or in a team
5. There is no limit to how many games you can submit. Be sure to submit one Form per game
6. Taking a drink in-game should only be an option, not a mandatory action for gameplay
7. You are welcome to present your name in-game for crediting your work but please do not include 3rd-party advertisements
8. Game content cannot be made more mature than PG-13
9. Games may be rejected at the sole discretion of the GameCozy judges
10. Entries must be submitted before Monday, June 10th.  Early submission is recommended

Turn Your Drink Into A Game Controller

• Single Player: Players connect GameCozy to their PC or mobile device to play and interact with it
• Multiplayer: A Host initiates a private or public game for friends to join and share in the experience
• Party Mode: Participants connect to a single source to synchronize their shared experience
• React Mode: The GameCozy will vibe with its environment and react with vibrations and dancing LEDs
