This is a jam for musicians or aspiring musicians to make a bunch of video game music over a weekend, in Louisville, Kentucky.
Official Itch submission guidelines:
1. Submit a lossless format
2. Make a title for your song
3. Include your theme in the description or after your title.
4. Stick around our Discord server for news about the digital album we plan to release that will feature the submitted tracks.
(those that have already submitted are fine!)
WHEN:
Friday, March 22nd at 7PM EST
through Sunday, March 24th at 9PM
WHERE:
Warp Zone Louisville - 627 W. Washington St. in downtown Louisville
Remote participation is permitted!
RULES:
1. If you choose to work in a team, ensure that the team is composed of a mixture of experienced musicians and beginners.
2. Each participating person or team must draw one random "tone" and one random "narrative", and make music fitting that theme.
3. Keep vocals family friendly.
4. Take some time to help others, if you have the ability to help.
SCHEDULE:
Friday, March 22nd
- 7PM - Doors open
- 7:30PM - Introductions, team forming, and theme drawing
- 8PM - Jam BEGINS!
- 11PM - Warp Zone closes
Saturday, March 23rd
- 11AM - Doors open, lunch and dinner provided
- 11PM - Warp Zone closes
Sunday, March 24th
- 9AM - Doors open, breakfast and lunch provided
- 6PM - One Hour remaining, begin finalizing and exporting your music!
- 7PM - Jam ENDS, presentations begin.
- 9PM - Warp Zone closes.
If you and your team members opt-IN through our local Discord server, your jam entries will be added to a digital album and released to the public (Price and platform availability TBD).
