In this game jam, there’s only one rule. Make a game about a game! 

Now, what do we mean by this? It is up to you to interpret it however you want. If you’re stumped, here are some routes you could go. You could create a game where the characters are playing a game. Or maybe it’s where you can change the game’s rules ala Baba is You. What if a character gets trapped in a video game? The possibilities are endless—as long as the game’s universe refers to its own fictional existence, it is allowed.

All platforms are allowed and you can do it solo or in a team. We would recommend you start programming the day it starts but we don’t really care. It is also recommended that you do a windows build or a build on browser.

It will be rated by 4 criteria: enjoyment, creativity, presentation and adherence to the theme.
