1. How do I submit my project?
You need to fill in the application form available here. Please note that you will have to fill in all fields in the template for us to consider your project and provide an objective, detailed evaluation.
2. Am I eligible to apply?
We accept applications from the following countries and regions: Russia, CIS, Western Europe, Turkey, Israel, Middle East, and Africa. Your title must be past soft launch so we can look at its product and UA metrics (see application form).
3. How will projects be evaluated?
We will make our evaluation based on all metrics that you provide in your application form. The authors of the most promising projects as determined by the Google-MGVC jury will be invited to participate in a closed-door Demo Day. We reserve the right to establish the final number of these short-listed projects depending on the quantity and quality of submitted content.
4. How do I make sure my project is eligible?
If you want to be absolutely sure that your project meets all criteria, please download the application form and look at the listed requirements. Make sure to fill out the document in full for a successful application.
5. How many projects will make it to the short-list for Demo Day?
We hope to pick around 10 projects, but it will all depend on the quality and quantity of applications. So, it could be more or less.
6. How will I know if my project was selected for Demo Day?
We will reach out to the authors of short-listed project via email. We also recommend you leave your mobile number while filling out the application form.
7. What is Demo Day, and how will it be held?
Demo Day is a closed-door online event where we will be ranking the applications short-listed by the Google-MGVC jury based on submitted metrics. Each project will receive an expert evaluation and recommendations, and all participants can ask their questions in the conference’s online chat. The Demo Day event will be held in an invitation-only Google Meet format (available through the web version).
8. Who can take part in the Demo Day conference?
The authors of short-listed projects can take part in the Demo Day conference.
9. When will Demo Day be held?
The event will take place on January 28, and the exact time will be specified on the invitation.
10. What will be the spoken language at Demo Day?
We are planning to host Demo Day in English. We may potentially have simultaneous translation available in Russian on the day of the conference. It will all come down to the origin countries of the authors of short-listed projects.
11. Which countries can take part in the project?
Presently, we accept applications from the following countries and regions: Russia, CIS, Western Europe, Turkey, Israel, Middle East, and Africa. We are planning to expand this list further on.
12. In what language can I apply to take part?
We accept applications in Russian and English.
