Futuregames Awards (FGA) is a place for FG and CME students to submit any games or prototypes, personal or school-related, they've been working on during their time in education.

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to provide travel or accommodation compensation. Please note we do require at least one representative from/for each team submitting to be at the event to accept any potential awards.

How do I submit?
You submit the prototype/game's itch.io page to this game jam. Follow the instructions and you'll be fine :)

What do I submit?
You can submit any school projects, prototypes, own personal projects etc.

Requirements:

•  Name of the game
• Credits (the team that created the game) 
• A short description of the game. Elevator pitch and length of game
• Instructions: Keyboard & mouse, or controllers?
  • How do we play & is there a tutorial?
  • Is it single player or multiplayer and if it is multiplayer how many?
• Screenshots from the game
• A short description of the game. Elevator pitch and length of game
• Logo, poster or trailer* for the presentation (*trailer is optional but encouraged.)

FAQ:

• Who can submit?
  • All current Futuregames students, no matter the year. Requirement for one team member or other representative to be able to attend the event on your behalf.
  • As long as the entire team are current Futuregames students.
• Who are the judges?
  • Unannounced, but we're working with Ali Farha, technical producer from Star Stable, to ensure we have a good selection!
• Any prizes? Trophies?
  • We're talking to a sponsor, we hope to announce it soon! It's not a prioritisation, but we are working on it. 
• Why is the event at Futuregames Stockholm/lowkey?
  • Due to time and monetary limitations, we figured it's far better to try with what we think is doable though smaller, than to go too big and go home (without an event). Hence less fancy venue, less requirements etc. 
• Structure of the event?
  • We will meet in 102 on the day and announce the winners. So far, no after-party has been planned, but if we feel cheeky, we might go out and raze the city afterwards :)
• Who is organising this immaculate event?
  • The GameChangers, the student union of Futuregames and CME. We are organising it independently from school but in collaboration with Ali Farha.
• I don't seem to be able to submit my game's itch.io page!
  • We have noticed that teams cannot submit the games that are hosted by Futuregames' own itch.io. You'd need to recreate your own itch.io page or try to contact Futuregames to help you. It's not something we can help with, and one quick solution would be to create a new itch.io page and add the URL to the real one, but it isn't ideal!
