We offer services like Daily Unity Challenges, Weekly Game Creations, and One-on-One Mentoring and combine that with our gamifying leaderboard system. Prizes

1st Place - $25 Guaranteed (Cap $50 with increment upgrade option of $5)

The following is the prize scenario for a solo team. Check out the Teams section for more information about how prizes are distributed to a team. 

1st place is guaranteed $25 if they win the game jam. Using points from our program, they can upgrade their prize pool in $5 increments to a cap of $50. Leftover money will be kept by FIA to improve the organization. Here is the point to upgrade conversion rate for the jam: 40 POINTS = $5 PRIZE UPGRADE

Teams

Max teams of 4

8 POINTS = $1 PRIZE UPGRADE

1. Depending on the team size, the initial cap will be set to the amount of money each member will get if the total prize pool was divided equally (discarding rounding and remainders). If a member reaches the initial cap and other members cannot buy up to their own, then that member can upgrade their prize pool over their cap to earn more money. Any leftover funds will be kept by FIA to improve the organization.

Judgement

The game will be judged by one or two of the founders/co-founders of the organization. Judging will commence after the submission deadline and the results will be released the following week. Community voting is enabled, so during judging week participants are encouraged to rate each other's games and give constructive feedback. However, the only votes/scores that count are from the official judges (keep that in mind). The categories we will judge are the following:

• Theme
• Gameplay
• Presentation

Rules

1. We allow teams of up to 4.
2. No NSFW/L or offensive content.
3. Game must be playable on Windows or Web.
4. Any software, tool (including AI), or game engine is fine.
   
5. We allow late submissions if contacted 1 day after the deadline.

FAQs

1. Where can I find team members?
   1. We have a discord server where you can talk with lots of people! It's also where we host weekly challenges! 
2. How am I going to get paid if I win?
   1. After our first game jam, we will like to keep our platforms to either PayPal, Venmo, or directly donating the funds to the winning game. If all of these platforms do not work for you, don't worry; we can talk. We will ensure that you receive the prize you've earned
3. How do I gain points in the program to upgrade my prizes?
   1. You can correctly answer daily polls for a small amount of points or you can participate in our weekly game creations to earn a massive amount of points at one time
4. Can I submit a game I've previously made?
   1. You certainly can, but it is highly discouraged because the game will have to conform with the theme. Games that clearly do not relate to the theme will receive the lowest scores on our chart
5. How can I submit my mobile game to the jam?
   1. As stated in the rules, we will only accept a game built for either the Windows platform or for the Web so you'll be able to publish it here. We may accept mobile in the future, but we are not yet accepting that due to complications so sorry for the inconvenience
