UPDATE: You will be able to modify your submission page and build after November 30th, but you MUST submit something before that time. BEWARE: Judging will happen at a time convenient for the industry judges, so the later you modify things, the riskier it is. Any modifications after December 15 will not be guaranteed to be seen.
Welcome to the Second Future Game Awards (FGA)!
The FGA is an award show presented by Gamechangers Student Union in Stockholm and Malmö. Futuregames Awards (FGA) is a place for Futuregames students to submit any games or prototypes, personal or school-related, that they've been working on during their time at Futuregames! Don't be shy ;)

If you have used any assets that aren't self-made (e.g., pre-made 3D models), you must convey that information. You will not be eligible for a category nomination if non-original assets are used and not made by a team member.
Deadlines
[NEW] Hard Deadline: November 30
This is the final date to submit your game's page. If you have not submitted anything by this time you will not be able to enter after, HOWEVER, you may update your game's page and build up until judging.
[NEW] Final Modifications Deadline: December 15
This is the final date we can guarantee modifications will be seen by judges. After this time, modify at your own risk!
Submission Process
How Do I Submit?
Upload your prototype/game to an itch.io game page, then submit it to this game jam. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure a smooth submission.
What Can I Submit?
You can submit any school projects, prototypes, or personal projects completed while enrolled at Futuregames.
Requirements
Submission Details
- Name of the Game
- Credits (the team that created the game)
- Details of non-original assets (if applicable)
- Short Description (Elevator pitch and game length)
- Instructions (e.g., keyboard/mouse/controller):
- How do we play? Is there a tutorial?
- Is it single-player or multiplayer? If multiplayer, how many players?
- Screenshots from the game (3 minimum)
- Marketing Materials (e.g., logo, poster, trailer):
- Deadline for marketing materials: December 15
FAQ
Who Can Submit?
- All current Futuregames students. At least one team member must attend the event.
- The entire team must consist of students enrolled at Futuregames at the time of project development.
Who Are the Judges?
- Judges are unannounced. We are collaborating with Ali Farha, Technical Producer at Star Stable, to ensure we have a good selection!
Are There Any Prizes or Trophies?
- Gamechangers Stockholm will provide trophies. Sponsors may provide additional prizes.
