Welcome to Fusionween 2024! For this upcoming spooky season, let's try to add some games to the candy bowl using Clickteam Fusion!
You will have 30 days to make an entry with Clickteam Fusion starting on October 1st and ending on October 30th. Let's see what spooky and spectacular creations you can cook up in that time!
Even if you don't own Clickteam Fusion 2.5 Standard or Developer, you can still use the Free version! There are starter tutorials available here and here.
This jam's theme is simply Halloween. There are no mechanical restrictions or requirements, just as long as Halloween is incorporated into your game in some way, you're all good!
There are prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
1st Place: $40
2nd Place: $35
3rd Place: $20
(PayPal is required in order to receive the prize money)
A thank you to fellow Clicker Luxen for donating $50 to the total prize pool!
When you create a game page on itch.io, you have the option to include it in any jams that you are currently a part of. If you have joined this jam, then it should be included on a list that you can select from during the page creation process.
You can include the standard #IWantToCreate and #MadeWithFusion tags in your entry, but also be sure to include the jam-specific #Fusionween2024 tag.
Submitters and contributors will be judging the submitted games.
The games will be ranked using the following criteria: Overall, Fun, Innovation/Creativity, Presentation, and Theme. The primary rating category is Overall.
• Entries must be developed in a piece of Clickteam software, such as Clickteam Fusion 2.5. Other Clickteam products such as Multimedia Fusion 2 and The Games Factory are allowed as well.
• You cannot simply submit an old game, even if you tweak or re-texture it. All entries must be developed within the jam's time window.
• Preexisting code for things like a platformer engine are allowed to be re-used. Graphics may also be re-used. As stated above though, you cannot re-use entire sections/levels of a preexisting game.
• The use of A.I. is not allowed.
• Working in a team is allowed, just be sure that the members are properly credited either in-game or on the game's submission page.
• Post-jam patches and bug fixes are allowed. None of us are perfect, and there may be a game breaking bug that got missed during development. In these situations, you are allowed to patch your game, but that is it. Don't go sneaking in new levels and game mechanics.
This jam is run by a member of the Clickteam Community, and not by Clickteam, LLC. If there is a problem with the jam, please reach out to digivorix on Discord.
