Hello, World!

Welcome to the first ever Function Game Jam. These game jams will be math-themed and 100% for fun: no prizes for winners.

Scoring

Each game will have a numerical score deciding its placement. If there is a tie, I will have to go in with personal bias. There are 6 categories that you can be judged on, all scored out of 5:

• Creativity - the originality of your submission.
• Accuracy - how themed your submission is.
• Polish - how "finished" your submission looks. This is hard to come by, so it won't affect your rank as much.
• Fun - how fun I personally found your submission. This is an opinion, so it won't affect your rank as much.
• Accessibility - How accessible your submission is. I will be playing these on a laptop, so you will recieve less points here if your game lags, and more if it's available on more than one platform.
• Scratch - You will recieve 1-5 bonus points (depending on the quality of your submission) if you use any version or mod of Scratch to make your submission. Provide video proof with your submission or include a variable/list monitor at any point in the submission to recieve the points.

Rules

• Absolutely no use of generative AI whatsoever. You will be promptly disqualified if anyone finds out. (get it, promptly? no? tough crowd)
• Absolutely no hate comments on other submissions. If you leave a hate comment on a submission, your submitted a game is disqualified.
• No matter what other devices the game can be played on, you must submit a free, embedded game (played in a browser) or Windows executable, fully playable with a keyboard and/or mouse.
• Teams are allowed, and encouraged. There's no team size limit, but I wouldn't make a team bigger than 5-6 people because of how disorienting it can be.

Assets

• You are allowed to use non-copyright assets as long as you give proper credits in-game and on the game's page.
