Welcome to the Four Hour Game Jam! Create a game by yourself in just four hours! I am trying to keep this jam very beginner friendly, so that new game developers can hone their skills and create a small game. The rules are as follows -

1. Create a game by yourself, no teams allowed.

2. You can use any asset from the internet (even Google Images) but make sure you put a link and credit the person who made it. For music, you can use any royalty-free music out there. (but give the credits)

3. The theme will be announced the moment the jam starts. You cannot start before the game jam begins.

4. You are allowed to stream your development on Twitch, YouTube, etc. I will be happy to watch them!

5. You are NOT allowed to submit a game from prior game jams. Also, try to minimize code reuse. You can reuse assets you made prior to the jam.

6. No post-jam changes.

7. You are allowed to use any engine (even an engine you made yourself) and any tools unless it's a 'game you made prior to the game jam'.

8. Make sure your game is Windows/HTML5/Linux compatible. Otherwise, many people won't be able to play it.

9. Board games and card games are allowed.
