The League of Extraordinary Foundry VTT Developers is celebrating one year since Foundry Virtual Tabletop was released (May 22) and the League's own first anniversary (July 13) by hosting a Package Jam between those dates!

Rules & Guidelines

If you are submitting a package, please ensure the Itch.io project has a valid manifest file as one of the Uploads. (Tip: You can use the "external file" type of upload and link this manifest to your Github release track.)

Submission Rules

Your submission must meet the following criteria:

1. Be one of the following:

    1. System, Module, or World which works with Foundry VTT 0.8.x

    2. A developer tool for use in creating Foundry Systems, Modules, or Worlds

    3.  A self-contained piece of Documentation or Educational Material specifically catered towards version 0.8.x of Foundry VTT. (Wiki pages authored by you are eligible for entry.)

2. Be free to install / use / consume.

3. Have its first public release during the jam.

4. Comply with all applicable laws and respect copyright. If your submission is an external integration it should respect the external tool's Terms of Service.

5. Comply with the Foundry VTT software license.

6. Contain a LICENSE file which sets out the license under which the package is released (there is no restriction on the license used, so long as it follows the other rules). Other acceptable licensing annotations include using the REUSE spec. If you are consciously choosing No License, denote this in the submission fields.

7. Include at least a basic README detailing how to use the submission.

Why do I need a LICENSE?

The purpose of the rule is to avoid the case where a submission is accidentally using a restrictive "all rights reserved" implicit when no license is defined. As the league is built on the backs of our open source collaboration, we want to encourage perpetuating that spirit. As long as you are consciously keeping the all rights reserved license, that is your prerogative and will not disqualify your submissions.

We recommend doing some research about the implications of this, choosealicense.com is a pretty nice resource for learning more about the topic.

Disqualification

If your submission cannot be installed or viewed from information on its Itch.io project page by the time the submission period is over and the Ring Masters are unable to contact you, your submission will be disqualified.

A submission which does not function by the end of the Submission period may be disqualified at the Judges discretion.

League Ring Masters are disqualified from winning any category other than the Judge's Division.
