Theme!

The theme for this jam is Night time in Tokyo!

Intro!

The Folio jam is a friendly competition between Uni students and recent graduates, aimed at motivating devs to create new pieces to add to their portfolios.

At the end of the competition each participant will be able to vote on submissions to choose the best pieces for set categories; these will be:

• Best UI.
• Best 2D artwork.
• Best 3D asset.
• Best 3D environment. 
  
• Best 3D environment (using premade assets)
• Best animation.
• Best Game mechanic.
• Best game (if you're feeling ambitious)

This jam will run for 2 weeks, in this time feel free to create anything you like! and then submit to the competition. After this 2 week period there will be a voting period that lasts 1 week (02/07/25 - 09/07/25) after which voting will close and winners will be announced.

Additional rules!

• Participants can make multiple submissions to any category.
• Submissions can be made using premade assets i.e. from Quixel, but must be tagged as such. 
• Do not use stolen work
• Submissions need to be uploaded in a suitable format.
• You do not have to submit a finished piece! A submission showing your progress is also allowed.
• Please use the appropriate hashtag when submitting your piece to help organise the categories.

I want this jam to serve as a opportunity to show off your skills to other devs, hence why a finished work is not necessary!
