What is FloppyJam? 

FloppyJam is a game jam centered around one theme: making your game fit on a floppy disk.
Get creative and explore the restrictions of 1.44MB! Now that doesn't mean you need to put your game on a floppy disk, it just needs to fit in 1.44 MB of fun! It doesn't matter if it's text based or graphics based, nor does it matter what colors / resolution you use.

HTML5 and Java games are allowed. Python games are only allowed if they have the libraries in the same directory as the game.
Most game engines won't create games within 1.44MB.
No specific target hardware or software (except for MacOSX, macOS Sierra+ or any other system that isn't easy to emulate on Windows).

You are free to start development before the starting submission date.

Restrictions:

• The game must fit within 1.44MB uncompressed. (As in pre-zipped)
• The game must have less than 1 hour of gameplay.
• The game must not contain 18+ material.
• The game must be original and/ or in fair use of a game concept to other entries. Don't copy each other. ;)

Rewards
Sorry if you were looking for a money reward, but that will not be a reward this game jam. HOWEVER there are some rewards.
