Welcome to our first FANTASY JAM on Core! Core is a platform built on Unreal Engine 4 that is similar to other creator platforms like Dreams and Roblox! Create whatever you can imagine inside of Core, and share it instantly with your friends! Core takes care of all multiplayer functionality, so you can easily create multiplayer games using the Core platform.

Core makes prototyping and iteration fast, so it’s a great platform for Game Jams, especially if you want to quickly set up a 3D multiplayer game. You can get started making games right away using thousands of free, high quality music, sound, and art assets, with no coding required.

But, if you like to get more nerdy with it, Core still lets you create your own game logic in Lua and build your own levels and art with their easy-to-use tools. You can build games from scratch, or remix and re-imagine content shared by other creators, and when you’re ready to publish, your game will go live instantly on the Core platform with the click of a button.

HOW TO QUALIFY

To qualify for this GAME JAM, load the new Drakeling Labs game CASTLE SIEGE on CORE! Use the Castle Siege project to create your own project! You can either create a new game-mode, add more to the map, or anything else you can think of! The top rated project at the end of this month will be awarded $500 for their submission!

Download Core here!

Once you have installed Core, you can play Castle Siege here!

In order to create a new project, go to the Create tab and find Castle Siege in "Community Shared Games"

RATINGS

Your creation will be voted on internally by the Drakeling Labs team! Over one hundred signed contributors within Drakeling Labs (including Bluedrake42) will play your creation, and cast their vote for the best candidate.

THE PRIZE

Once you are done creating your project, submit it on this page for a chance at $500!

This will be sent via PayPal to your address.

Good luck everyone, go get creating on Core!
