Faggot Games TTRPG Jam follows momentum from Darling Demon Eclipse's (that's me) Faggot Games: An Urgent Warning, with the intent of encouraging designers to create work that is queer, sexually liberated and unyielding. 

Design Principles & Rules

The same article describes Faggot Games as such:

• Loud queer sexuality, without a desire to make play more comfortable for cishet people and prudes.
• Departure from popular axioms around player and character consent, and broad rejection of the modern safety framework for something more interpersonal and robust.
• A central role for fetish, kink and sexual fantasies. Faggot games aren't always necessarily /about/ these things, but they loop back to them as much as possible.
• A focus on challenging and unexpected visuals. Blend the cozy and the macabre, the outside and the mainstream, in ways they didn't know they even wanted. Keep them guessing.

Use these as design principles, but don't let them limit what you create - if you feel like the game you're making doesn't fit one or two of these, don't worry about it. There are, however, some rules to what you can submit:

1. No generative AI, whatsoever.
2. Adult & NSFW content is permitted and encouraged.
3. Your game must be a TTRPG of some sort - this jam is not for video games.
4. Submissions must be new games, posted to Itch.io within the one-month period of the jam. 
5. Multiple submissions are allowed and encouraged.
6. No unironic bigotry, though I encourage you to explore difficult themes in your work.
7. It should make me, personally, hard. Just kidding. Maybe.
