🎮 About the Event:

Join us for the Extra Life Game Jam, where creativity meets compassion! This event brings together game developers, artists, musicians, and storytellers of all skill levels to create games that make a difference. Over 3 days, you'll team up (or fly solo!) to build fun, innovative games—all while raising awareness and support for children in need through Extra Life.

🚀 What to Expect:

• Create for a Cause: Channel your creativity and passion into game development that has a real-world impact. Every game made during the jam helps support Extra Life and its mission to provide life-saving care and support for kids.
• Collaborate and Connect: Work with like-minded game enthusiasts, share ideas, and learn from each other in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, there's a place for you here.
• Showcase Your Work: At the end of the jam, showcase your game to fellow jammers, supporters, and a panel of judges. Who knows? Your creation could inspire others and maybe even take home a prize!

• Inspiring Speakers: Hear from industry professionals, game developers, and charity representatives who will share insights, tips, and stories to inspire your work. These sessions are designed to spark creativity and provide valuable knowledge for both beginners and experts.

Support our fundraising goal for Extra Life a program under Children's Miracle Network Hospital benefiting the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba by donating to the Winnipeg Game Collective team page on extra-life.org HERE

Money raised will go to fund research and training, purchase life-saving equipment and pay for uncompensated care. The Children's Miracle Network Hospitals treat every patient that comes through their doors, regardless of the family's ability to pay.
