Create a game in one week in this epic game development marathon! This is a jam to explore game creation and try your best. You don't need to have lots of game dev experience to participate, everyone is welcome! If you win you get a special role on my discord and my favorite games will be featured in a video on my YT channel.
- You have one week to create a game based around a theme that will be revealed once the jam begins.
- You can work alone or in a team of any size.
- You can use assets or scripts that were made before the jam, however the majority of the game must be made within the timeframe.
- Include explosions (Not required).
- The prize is a role on the discord server and also the top participants will get featured on my Youtube channel.
The Theme Is: Out Of Bounds
Everyone who submits a game can rate and games will be rated on the following criteria.
- Gameplay
- Visuals
- Sound
- Creativity
- Theme
- Explosiveness
- Overall
Don't go overboard, a simple polished game is more enjoyable then a long, not as polished game (Quality > Quantity)
Don't make something you don't enjoy making. This jam is about having fun as a community and it is better to have fun making something you enjoy, rather than spending a week on something you dislike.
Make the game and idea simple to understand, and include a tutorial so everyone can play without reading 5 pages of text first.
