At Experience Good Gaming we strive to push developers out of their comfort zones. This Game Jam is about taking a step back from central gameplay. Instead this jam is about taking a step back to play as the observer. 

What classifies as an observer. An observer is a character or object in a gaming genre that usually is not the central focus of the main action.        

 For Example:

In the arcade fighting game genre instead of the focus being on the fighters the focus would be on; the people watching the event, the commentators, or the stage itself

In a racing game the focus is usually on the cars racing but instead it could be on the flag person, the race car track, the repair team, or people in the stands. 

So basically the game play that usually not the focus would be the focus. The focus would be the observer.
