Come one and all to the very first Thanksgiving themed game jam hosted by Eastern Washington University's student branch of ACM!
All submissions will be accepted, regardless of one's status as an EWU student. Feel free to join us in making a festive game, no matter who you are!
Turkey Rebellion
Individuals and teams will have two weeks to work on a videogame with any programming language/ engine / software / hardware they desire.
The Unity engine is recommended for newcomers because of the similarities between C# and Java, as well as the ease of use for non-programmers.
You may use any art and music that is licensed accordingly, or make your own. Please attribute all open source music and artwork according to it's license.
Beginning teams are encouraged to use the Unity engine because of it's ease of use community support, and the simplicity of deploying a web build for submission through itch.io
Teams are VERY STRONGLY encouraged! While solo submissions will be accepted, it's much more fun (and festive) to work together! A team size of 2-5 is recommended, but not enforced for submissions.
Teams do not have to be formally registered, and individuals may belong to any number of teams.
You may draft your own teams, or fill out this form (https://forms.gle/RrReFHUKrCCYy9o79) to be assigned a team on 11/16.
It's okay to join late! We will try our best to match you with a good team if you're interested.
The submission deadline is November 30th at midnight. Early submissions are acceptable. All formats of submission will be accepted.
You're encouraged to use the EWU ACM Jammin' discord channel to connect with other the teams and ask questions about the process
