Welcome to East Sweden Game for a weekend game jam!

East Sweden Game is a game dev hub located in Linköping, Sweden. 18-19 April 2026 we are organizing a community-held game jam right here in Linköping! We will meet up at 10 on the Saturday for an introduction, theme reveal and a short brainstorm session. The jam ends on Sunday at 15 where you are encouraged (not required) to do a short presentation telling the other participants (and any curious on-lookers) what you've been up to.

This jam will be pretty laid back. There are no competitions, prices, voting etc. You can do any game you want; following the theme is encouraged but not mandatory.

The brainstorming session is a great opportunity to find a group to jam with, if you don't have one beforehand! But as with the theme, you are not required to make the game you come up with during the brainstorming. You can also jam with a predetermined group if you so wish.

We hope to see you at East Sweden Game (Fridtunagatan 24)! Unfortunately the door to the building is locked during the weekend but you can write to us in East Sweden Game's Discord server (link at the bottom) when you get here and we will let you in.

Language

ESG is, in the end, a community in Sweden, and most personal communication is done in Swedish. If you do not speak Swedish you are of course still welcome to attend! Information (like this jam page, and the presentation) have written information in English, and if there are non-Swedish-speakers present we will talk English during the presentations as well.
