Theme: Horror

Hello and Welcome to the EPX  Studio Game Jam! This jam is open to EPX Studio members and anyone interested in game jams online!

The theme is...
to be announced at the start of the jam! Join us at the kickoff meeting on Friday, October 9th. We'll also post it in the Discord server and on our social media.

Who are we?

EPX Studio is a game development club where students connect, create, and collaborate. Our mission is to help members grow as creators while building a supportive and welcoming community. We support all forms of digital content creation. Most of our members focus on game design, development, and animation, but we also welcome web design, music and audio production, and product design.

How do I join?

Join the Discord server to chat with participants, mentors, and club officers. The jam is a hybrid event, so you can join from anywhere or come hang out with us in person at the Main Library! You don't have to be an EPX Studio member to participate. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level, and we'll host a workshop for anyone who wants a hand getting started. You can make your own team, go solo, or get matched with a team through a Google Form.

Check out this guide to learn how to build your game and submit it to us. Don't stress, just have fun with it!

Submission

A few ground rules:

  • Submit an itch.io page for your game with at least one build (Windows and WebGL preferred, but any is fine).
  • List all contributing teammates and their Discord tags.
  • Please keep your project SFW. If it is school-censored, don't include it, as this is a university event.
  • Trigger warnings as needed.
  • Please no AI-generated content, so everyone is making their own work.
  • If you use assets that aren't your own, credit them in your game's description.
  • Teams can have up to 4 members, or you can work solo.

Tip: Try to submit an hour or so before the jam ends. If you can't finish a full submission, that's okay! You're still welcome to show off your project.
