Welcome to ENTA Halloween Game Jam! This game jam is open to all ENTA students and staff across all programs.
The theme will be revealed during the kickoff.

Rules
- Only playable builds will be judged.
- Team size is limited to 5 people.
- Keep the game safe for work and school.
- Only use assets that you have a valid license for.
- No all-nighters – get rest, sleep, and shower.
- Have fun!
When and Where
- We'll host the kickoff and judging sessions at the following times:
- Jam Kickoff: Monday, October 24th, @ 2PM PST Following an info session.
- Judging Panel: Monday, October 31st, @ 3PM PST
- Both will be hosted on MS Teams
Advice
- Keep the scope small and focused!
- Try to have a clear goal of what you want to make ~3-4 hours in.
- Don’t be intimidated by the judges, they are just people.
- Agree as a team on a working and stable engine version.
- It’s a collaboration! Be respectful and willing to work together.
- Use a source control solution! Either P4 or Git is a great choice.
- Make a build every night including tonight.
- Use the CEA Discord or Teams for collaboration and support.
- Remember it's for fun – do your best, it’s OK to not finish.
Judges Criteria
All participants and judges will be able to vote on the games in the following areas:
