Engine-Free Jam Banner

What is Engine-Free Jam?

Engine-Free Jam is a game jam focused on building games without traditional game engines like Unity, Unreal, or Godot. Participants will use a programming language of their choice, along with the use of libraries, frameworks such as raylib, pygame, or similar tools to create their games from a more hands-on, code-first approach.

Limitation

The limitation is a constraint your game should follow, but it is open to interpretation. If you're unsure whether your idea fits, keep in mind that others may interpret it differently as well. If your interpretation makes sense to you, it's likely it will make sense to others too.

Limitation: One Button
