Have you already explored the mines of Dwarf Fortress? Or had your fill exclaiming "rock and stone!" in Deep Rock Galactic? Have you frightened your neighbors by walking around outside with a pickaxe yelling "There's gold in them hills!"? And yet, like a covetous dragon (or dwarf) seeking gold, do you still crave MORE?!
Here's your chance to make an awesome game about dwarves and play other game submissions also about dwarves in this multiple month spanning game jam.
1. The game must prominently feature DWARVES (the fantasy species) but otherwise you can make any kind of game of any genre with any mechanics
2. No AI generated content of any kind. (You can use it to give you guidance, but don't copy and paste anything from an LLM and put it straight into your game.)
3. No illegal or rated X content. Nothing bigoted, I will leave it to your discretion to know what's appropriate and what isn't (for example, a Dwarf taking a jab at the elves is fine, but obviously not one directed at a real life group)
We may have an optional additional theme, but feel free to ignore it.
