Welcome to the Weekend Comic Jam! This is a solo event where you'll have the weekend to create and share your comic. Whether you're a seasoned artist or just getting started, this jam is for you!

• When: Start drawing from Friday, October 11 and finish by Sunday, October 13.
• What: Create a comic of any length or style
• How: Use our open source Comic Reader to create a file that lets you to display your comic directly on your itch page. OR upload your images directly in whatever file format you like.
• Who: All skill levels are welcome! This is a casual, non-ranked event—just for fun!
• Theme: A theme will be announced at the start of the jam. It’s completely optional, so feel free to go your own way!

Background

This comic jam takes inspiration from Scott McCloud's 24-hour comic challenge, created in 1990. The idea was to draw a 24-page comic in just 24 hours. Over the years, it has grown into a global creative event, encouraging fast-paced, improvisational comic-making. While this jam gives you a full weekend, it embraces the same spirit of creativity and fun!
