Dice Jam

Dice Jam is a TTRPG game jam which aims to promote cooperation and positivity through creativity. Whilst Dice Jam is a competition, the focus of the jam is to create an event in which TTRPG players may come together to create, collaborate and ask for feedback and advice.

To help ensure that Dice Jam continues to promote this culture and attitude amongst its participants, the event is by invitation only. Whilst you are free to invite whoever you wish to participate, before inviting them we ask that you explain the nature of Dice Jam and its goals to them.

An integral part of Dice Jam is promoting positivity and creativity. As such during the results evening, we go through each submission and as a community tell the developer(s) what we enjoyed most about it and what we thought they did particularly well. This activity is arguably the most important aspect of Dice Jam and as such when reviewing submissions for voting we ask that you take notes about what you enjoyed or thought particularly strong about each submission.

Format

You, and a partner should you choose, have four weeks to produce a five-page original TTRPG.

After those four weeks, participants have a fifth week to review other submissions and vote on them.

At the end of the fifth week a results evening is held online. Each submission is introduced, and other participants are encouraged to give their positive feedback, after this the results for the various awards are read.
