### OPPOSITE DAY!
The theme for this jam is… Opposite Day!
You can implement this in any interpretation, rather it’s a game about playing as the villain, or a game about everything being upside down, you choose what to do with this theme!
1. Be ethical to other contestants! Be a nice human being.
2. No NSFW material in your games may be present.
3. No AI generated material.
4. Games must run at reasonable stability
5. Teams are limited to a maximum of 6 people.
6. No copyrighted material - the contents of your game should be YOURS!
7. Usage of already-made assets/music/code that was created within the past 30 days before the start of the jam is allowed.
“What if I missed the deadline?!”
No worries, there will be a grace period after the deadline to submit your game! Within 24 hours of the submission period ending, just make a Community post linking to your game, and it’ll be added!
After 24 hours, you won’t be able to submit anymore though.
“Is there a limit on how many premade assets I can use?”
Yes, only assets made within 30 days from the jams’ start can be used.
And in addition, you must keep the usage within reason, don’t use every asset from a prior game you’ve made, it’s important to make new assets too!
“Is the theme necessary to follow?”
Yes, it is necessary.
You can choose to implement it vaguely or make your whole game about it though! It just has to be there in some way.
“I’m new to judging, how does it work?”
In this jam, you will just numerous games based off of numerous categories, like how stunning is the Art, how great is the Music, how well does it fit the Theme, and more!
It’s suprisingly simple, really. Just on the submission page of the game you wanna rate, rate each category from 1-5 stars!
“Do I own the games I make?”
Absolutely, you own your games! Whatever you make is yours! You are just entering it into a competition!
Stay tuned on the Community tab for updates!
Cheers,
DiamondCore!
