Logistics

• You can form teams of up to 4 people. Everyone should join the jam, but only one person needs to submit the game. You can add your other members as collaborators on the game page.
• Judging will occur on Sunday from 6pm - 8pm. All submissions must be in by 6pm. 
• Food will be provided!

Advice

Some things you can do to make your game stand out:

• Your game page should include: 
  •  A short description and how to play (controls, goal, known issues)
  • Credits (team members + roles)
  • Builds for your target platforms (Windows/Mac/Linux/WebGL)
  • Any additional files or notes needed to run (runtime notes, controller support, etc.).
• Change the default page colors to your own theme. Add background images.
• If you have time, add some screenshots or record a playthrough and put it on YouTube.

Afterwards

Please add the DGA itch.io account as an admin to your game. See instructions here. Then, Discord DM one of the board members with the invite link that itch.io gives you. Adding our itch.io account as an admin to your game serves two purposes:

1. We can proudly display the game on our itch.io account page, allowing it to be seen by more people
2. We can also add it to the DGA official website for more people to see, visit, and play!
3. You retain all rights to your work; by submitting, you allow DGA to showcase your game on our itch and website :-)
