Game Jam Results!
Since we are unable to rate in half stars we wanted to share a more accurate version of the scoring (out of 10) to allow for better results. Congrats to Mannequin Factory for coming in first, A Night in the Dark coming in second, and Halloween Sweep for coming in third!
DevSquad Game Jams are relaxed competitions in which you make a game based on the jam's theme. This spooky Halloween jam will begin at 6pm on the 31st of October and end at 6pm on 7th of November. It will be a great opportunity to meet new people and become part of a growing community as you push yourself to learn new skills and create an amazing game!
Want to fly solo? That’s great! However, participants are strongly encouraged to team up with other entrants! Find people who complement your strengths and look for like-minded people! Looking for teammates? Come say hi in the DevSquad Discord! We encourage you to say hi in the discord server regardless and meet other like-minded game developers!

Voting for the game jam will be done by the Virtus and other prepicked Judges, carefully breaking every game down into different categories to give a fair and reliable score. We'll be crowning the winner of the game jam on the 13th of November.
Game Jams are rewarding in more ways than one, not only will you learn a bunch of a new dev skills, we’ve teamed up with a bunch of awesome dev companies to offer each member of the winning team some sweet prizes. Each of these partners have been carefully chosen to add value to your game dev career.
TO BE ANNOUNCED!
There is basically only one rule, no NSFW games. We want all games to be playable by everyone. So also make sure that your game doesn't have any offensive or hateful content.
Other than that you are allowed to use any game engine/framework, and any assets (you of course are required to have a proper license to use them). You can also make everything yourself.
Teams are allowed, but up to a max of 5 people. You are not required to be on a team and may participate solo.
To allow a fair chance for all participants, any games NOT created for this jam will be removed. Any games that are against the rules will not be considered while being judged.
