DevJam! by DevLabs

DevJam! is a biannual game jam held every April and October.

The jam runs for one month. On the first day, we announce the theme. From there, you have the rest of the month to make a game by yourself or with your team around it.

Rules

1. Original Work Only All submitted games must be original creations made by the participating developer(s). Do not submit stolen, copied, or previously released work unless explicitly permitted by the organisers.
2. No Graphic Content Games must not contain excessive violence, gore, disturbing imagery, or other graphic material.
3. No NSFW Content Sexual, pornographic, or otherwise NSFW content is strictly prohibited.
4. No Uncensored Bad Language Profanity and offensive language are not allowed unless they are appropriately censored, such as through symbols, muting, or an audio censor effect.
5. Respect Copyright Developers are responsible for ensuring that all assets, music, sound effects, code, characters, artwork, fonts, and other content used in their game are either original or properly licensed for use.
6. Copyright Responsibility Any copyright infringement resulting from a submitted game is the responsibility of the developer or development team that submitted the game. Copyright claims, takedown requests, or similar actions relating to unauthorised content should be directed towards the responsible developer(s), not DevJam! or its organisers.
7. Follow the Theme Submitted games should meaningfully incorporate the official DevJam! theme.
8. Respect the Deadline Games must be submitted before the official submission deadline. Late submissions may not be accepted unless the organisers announce an extension.
9. No Cheating or Exploitation Participants must not manipulate votes, plagiarise another participant's work, exploit the submission system, use fraudulent accounts, or otherwise gain an unfair advantage.
10. Organiser's Decision The organisers reserve the right to remove or disqualify submissions that violate the DevJam! rules or create an unsafe or inappropriate environment for participants.
