Eligibility

Open to students and working professionals with up to 5 years of experience.

Preparation Period

This beginner-friendly game jam is the perfect way to get started with game development. For BITS Pilani Goa Campus students, we have a game development workshop to help you with the basics of Unity.

Theme / Problem Statement

The themes for this jam are:

One Mechanic, Infinite Possibilities

- Build a complete game using one core gameplay mechanic. Creativity should come from how deeply and cleverly you explore it.

Rebuild the World

- Create a game about restoring, repairing, or reshaping a broken world. The path from ruin to renewal is key.

Seen vs Unseen

- Design a game where hidden elements or invisible forces significantly impact gameplay and player decisions.

Rules

Teams: 1 to 5 members per team.
No restrictions on game engines or assets (ensure proper licensing).
Games can be 2D or 3D.
Final deliverable must be uploaded to itch.io as a WebGL build.
Games must be free or "pay what you want."

Submission Guidelines

Upload your game to itch.io.
Set compression type to Gzip in Unity’s WebGL Player Settings (if applicable).
Set the game as "released" (not "draft").
