Welcome, Jammers!

Welcome, all, to Dev & Dice's annual game jam! 🎉This year, we're going bigger in joint collaboration with SUTD's Visual Arts Club and Digital Design & Development Club, not to mention a BRAND NEW Board Game category in store for you!

Our game jam will be hosted physically @ SUTD for those who prefer having in-person discussions, according to this schedule:

Theme: 

To be revealed when the jam begins, after the physical presentation on 25th Oct, 10 AM👀

Prizes & Criteria:

Your games will be judged according to the following Criteria, with two sets of prizes per category for Board Game or Video Game.

• Judge's Pick: Special 3D printed trophies and keys to SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure!🍳
• Most on Theme: 3D Printed Coasters! 🍾
• Most Fun Submission: 3D Printed Leaping Frog Toys! 🪀
• Best Art Direction: 3D Printed Pencil Holders! ✏️
• Best Audio / Sound (Video Game only): 3D Printed Phone Stand Keychains! 📱

All participants will also get a certificate of participation as well as a special sticker sheet with our new jam mascot - Devvy! 🐸🪄

Devvy will also be featured in all of our prizes :) Special thanks to kopiforge for sponsoring the top prize for our jam! 🫶

Jam Rules:

1. You must be a student or staff of SUTD to enter our jam!
2. You can join the jam solo or form a team up to a maximum of 5 people!
3. Joining the jam in-person is recommended, but you're welcome to join virtually too! However, as we have physical prizes, a separate arrangement would be made for your team to collect them.
4. The game you make within the two days must be based on the jam theme, and a playable copy of your video game must be submitted here by the deadline to qualify for our prize categories.
5. You are not allowed to work on your game before the theme is revealed.
6. You are allowed to use any engine or framework. However, if you choose to use assets not made by you, make sure you have the proper license to use them and credit accordingly.
7. No NSFW or offensive content.

Any team who breaks the jam rules may be disqualified, according to our team's discretion.
